Driving on snow or ice is a challenge for every driver, but also an indescribable experience with lots of “fun factor”. The winter season in Finland offers perfect conditions to optimize your driving performance on ice and snow. Surrounded by the beautiful nature that this country has to offer, your stay will be an unforgettable experience. With our different offers around the driving pleasure, you will for sure find something that suits you.

Winter Drive days & training

The ERM winter drive program has been designed to improve your driving skills on winter surfaces. We offer driving training with our high-quality vehicles on ice tracks as well as on typical Finnish rally roads with icy surfaces. Training takes place in Central Finland, the heart of the famous rally area. Our programs are suitable for beginners up to professional drivers. We offer cars for rent, but you can of course bring your own car.

The best time to come?

The winter season usually starts in mid-January and ends around mid-March, depending on the weather conditions. Training is possible at every day of the week.

Where we drive?

The training centre is located in Koskenpää in the Rantapirtti Camp, well-known within the international Rally world, it is approximately 50 km from the city of Jyväskylä. The distance from Helsinki is around 250 km, and the drive from the airport takes about 3 hours.

We are also happy to pick you up from Helsinki airport if you do not use your own transport.

Culinary delights in Rantapirtti

After an eventful day in the Finnish nature, you will enjoy excellently prepared food with daily changing menus, served in a traditional furnished restaurant. The kitchen of Rantapirtti is known far beyond the borders of Finland for cooking with natural products and ingredients to create extremely tasty dishes. Experience this special taste adventure.

In this area there is a range of activities to choose from, snowmobile as well as ice karting offer a different kind of driving pleasure and if you want to enjoy something completely without an engine, a Husky Safari or just relaxing in a traditional Finnish smoke sauna would be a perfect option.
